Once we finish processing your order and it's ready to ship, you'll receive automated emails containing the tracking details. We use DHL Express for shipping, which typically delivers within 48-72 hours after dispatch for orders to North America, Europe, and Asia, pending customs clearance.

To create your own roasts, simply 'edit' an existing roast recipe within each coffee in your Library. This allows you to adjust the roast degree (from Light to Dark) and development time (Low, Medium, High) for either filter or espresso. With over 30 variable roast recipes for each coffee available in Guided Edit, you can tailor your roasts to match your preferred coffee taste.

We believe Guided Edit roast editing provides home customers with the best tools for achieving their desired roast preference. However, if you prefer to edit an IKAWA Home roast curve from scratch, we offer freestyle editing of roast recipes as an optional, paid feature called Graph Editor Subscription. You can subscribe to Graph Editor in-app for £4.99/$5.99 per month.

The IKAWA Home Roasting has a roast capacity of 100g of green coffee, resulting in approximately 90g of roasted coffee beans. A standout feature of the IKAWA Home is its consistency and repeatability. Once you send a recipe to the Roaster, it stores the latest recipe, allowing you to easily replicate the same roast with just the touch of a button.

For Refreshed and Reconditioned IKAWA Home Roasting Systems, the capacity is 50g, resulting in around 45g of roasted coffee.

Whether you need 100g or 1KG for your weekly coffee needs, the IKAWA Home roasting system is designed for back-to-back roasting, ensuring you can roast enough for your requirements.

Many of your favourite roast recipes typically take around 6-10 minutes. Feel free to experiment to discover what suits you best! The IKAWA Home Roaster has a maximum roast time of 12 minutes.

Our patented and innovative cyclone system in the IKAWA Home prevents smoke build-up during roasting. This technology, along with features like size, automatic chaff collection, and smart app controls, enhances the practicality and rewards of roasting on the IKAWA Home Roasting System compared to other systems. There is still some smoke, but it is minimal and we suggest keeping your kitchen ventilation on or a window open (especially in smaller kitchens) when roasting multiple batches to prevent hot air accumulation and any emissions buildup in the room.

The IKAWA Home Roaster produces an average of 77dB during the roast, similar to the noise level of your typical kitchen stovetop extractor. This means you can confidently place the IKAWA Home on your kitchen countertop, adding more style to your space. Plus, you'll have no trouble hearing the key stages of the roasting process such as first and second cracks.

The IKAWA Home Roasting System works seamlessly with the IKAWA Home App, giving you control to choose, customise, and monitor your roast recipes.

But here's the beauty: when you're repeating a roast recipe that's already been sent to the Roaster, you don't need the app. The Roaster saves the last recipe sent to it. Just push the go button, and you can run the latest recipe as many times as you want without any inputs from the app.
